During these therapy sessions, we do just that – we walk and we talk – incorporating psychotherapy with the physical, psychological, and emotional benefits that come from being outside and active.

Why Walk and Talk Therapy?
Therapy is one of the best ways to improve your mental health. But so is walking. Being outside, moving your body, getting some fresh air, and more – these activities reduce stress, increase “good mood” hormones, and are believed to increase neuroplasticity: the brain’s ability to adapt to change.

Where We Walk
I am able to travel to meet you at a place that is comfortable. I live in the San Francisco area, so we can arrange a spot to meet and walk in any direction you like. We’ll maintain a reasonable distance from others and can always stop and change directions if you’re feeling like you want a bit more privacy. I want to make this as easy as possible for you so that we can help support your mental health and growth.
