What is Your Style?

My style is active and engaged. I like to think of our sessions as working collaboratively to solve identified concerns. You are the expert on yourself and I am the expert on what can help you accomplish your goals, and we work together to help you feel better and live the life you desire.

Do You Accept Insurance?
I do not take insurance. However, I can provide you with monthly Superbills or receipts to submit to your insurance company. As long as you have a PPO plan, they will reimburse you a certain percentage (usually 40-80%), depending on the plan. I can also connect you to a start-up that helps you submit receipts.

In addition, I am an approved provider of Lyra Health and Modern Health, which allow employees of companies to receive free mental health care (no co-pays). Ask your employer about obtaining Lyra Health or Modern Health as a mental health benefit.

Do You Offer Phone or Video Sessions?

Yes, tele-health (phone or video sessions) is available for clients under extenuating circumstances such as injury, emergency, or periods of travel. Interstate tele-health is also an option depending on the state (I am also licensed in New York) as well as the type of service (coaching versus psychotherapy).

How Long is Each Session?

Sessions are about 50 minutes in length; longer sessions are prorated.

How Often Do You See Clients?

Weekly attendance is most effective as it allows us to identify the issues/limiting beliefs, set goals and build momentum towards achieving those goals.

How Long Will the Process Take?

For either psychotherapy or coaching this varies per person and his/her goals. It typically takes about 3 months to construct meaningful change in your life. I have also seen radical changes at the 6 – 8 week mark, while others engage in our work for years because they appreciate the ongoing support and encouragement to stay aligned with their values.

What is Your Cancellation Policy?

Your time slot is reserved especially for you. Cancellations less than 48 hours in advance are subject to the full fee for the appointment time.
